Summary

Render an astrocartography map image based on the user's birth data and selected settings.

Inputs

• Year (required) — Birth year in 4-digit format, e.g., 1990.
• Month (required) — Birth month as a number from 1 (January) to 12 (December).
• Day (required) — Birth day of the month (1-31).
• Hour (required) — Birth hour in 24-hour format (0-23).
• Minute (required) — Birth minute (0-59).
• Location Type (required) — Method to specify birth location: either by city name and country code or by exact latitude and longitude coordinates.
• City (required) — Birth city name, required if location type is 'City Name'.
• Country Code (required) — Two-letter ISO country code for the birth city, required if location type is 'City Name'.
• Latitude (required) — Geographic latitude in decimal degrees (-90 to 90) of birth location, required if location type is 'Coordinates'.
• Longitude (required) — Geographic longitude in decimal degrees (-180 to 180) of birth location, required if location type is 'Coordinates'.
• Planets — Select one or more planets to include in the astrocartography calculation. Defaults to Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter.
• Line Types — Select types of angular lines to calculate such as Ascendant, Descendant, Imum Coeli, and Midheaven. Defaults to Ascendant and Midheaven.
• Simplify — Toggle to return a simplified response with key data only or a full API response with all metadata. Defaults to true.

Output shape

a JSON object containing the rendered astrocartography map data and related chart information

The response shape depends on whether 'Simplify' is enabled; enabling it limits output to key data fields. The operation sends user birth data and map options to generate the render map via the API.

Example 1: Render an astrocartography map using birth date June 15, 1990, 14:30 at London, GB including default planets and line types.
