Generate a Lunar Return chart for a given subject using birth data and an optional target return date, returning astrological positions computed for the moon's return to its natal position.

Inputs

• Subject Name — Optional name identifier used in report titles.
• Year (required) — Birth year in 4-digit format.
• Month (required) — Birth month number (1-12).
• Day (required) — Birth day of the month (1-31).
• Hour (required) — Birth hour in 24-hour format (0-23).
• Minute (required) — Birth minute (0-59).
• Second — Birth second (0-59) for extra precision.
• Location Type (required) — Choose whether to specify birth location by city name (auto-detect coordinates) or exact latitude/longitude.
• City (required) — Birth city name, required if Location Type is 'City Name'.
• Country Code (required) — 2-letter ISO country code for the birth city, required if Location Type is 'City Name'.
• Latitude (required) — Geographic latitude in decimal degrees (-90 to 90), required if Location Type is 'Coordinates'.
• Longitude (required) — Geographic longitude in decimal degrees (-180 to 180), required if Location Type is 'Coordinates'.
• Return Date — Target date (YYYY-MM-DD) for the lunar return; if empty, uses the current or next lunar return date.
• House System (required) — Astrological house calculation system (e.g., Placidus, Whole Sign).
• Zodiac Type (required) — Zodiac calculation method: Tropical (Western) or Sidereal (Vedic).

• Simplify (required) — Whether to simplify output to key data only or include full metadata.
• Advanced Options — Toggle to show advanced options such as fixed stars inclusion and caching.
• Include Fixed Stars Analysis — Whether to include fixed star positions and aspects in the chart (advanced option).
• Fixed Star Presets — Preset groups of fixed stars to include if fixed stars analysis is enabled.
• Include Parans — Whether to include paran calculations (stars co-rising, co-culminating, co-setting).
• Include Heliacal — Whether to include heliacal rising/setting phenomena.
• Use Cache (required) — Whether to use cached calculations when available for efficiency.

Output shape

a JSON object containing the lunar return astrological chart data.

The output is optionally simplified based on the 'Simplify' parameter. If simplification is disabled, the full detailed API response including all metadata will be returned.

Example 1: Generate a lunar return chart for a subject born on 1990-01-15 12:00 in London, GB, for the current or next lunar return date.
