Summary

Calculate Kaal Sarpa Dosha in a Vedic natal chart based on birth parameters and location.

Inputs

• year (required) — Birth year in 4-digit format (e.g., 1990).
• month (required) — Birth month as number 1-12 (January=1, December=12).
• day (required) — Birth day of month (1-31).
• hour (required) — Birth hour in 24-hour format (0-23, where 0=midnight, 12=noon).
• minute (required) — Birth minute (0-59).
• locationType — Choose how to specify birth location: by city name (auto-detects coordinates) or exact latitude/longitude. Default: city.
• city (required) — Birth city name (e.g., 'London', 'New York', 'Kyiv'). Shown when locationType is city.
• countryCode (required) — 2-letter ISO country code for the birth city (e.g., US, GB, UA, DE, FR). Shown when locationType is city.
• latitude (required) — Geographic latitude of birth location in decimal degrees (-90 to 90, positive=North). Shown when locationType is coordinates.
• longitude (required) — Geographic longitude of birth location in decimal degrees (-180 to 180, positive=East). Shown when locationType is coordinates.
• ayanamsa — Ayanamsa (precession correction) system for Vedic calculations. Default: lahiri.
• nodeType — Calculation method for lunar nodes (Rahu/Ketu). Default: mean. Options: mean (average position) or true (actual astronomical position).
• precision — Decimal precision for degree calculations (0-6). Default: 2.
• simplify — Whether to return simplified response with key data only. Disable for full API response with all metadata. Default: true.

Output shape

API response containing Kaal Sarpa Dosha analysis. When simplify is true (default), returns key data only; when false, returns full API response with all metadata.

The simplify toggle directly controls response shape as declared in the node's UI properties.
