Summary

Update all fields of one or multiple Events records in Zoho Bigin, replacing unspecified optional fields with their default values.

Inputs

• Input Mode (required) — Choose 'Single' to update one event or 'Many' to update multiple events with JSON array input.
• Events (Recordid) (required) — Specify the event to update by ID, URL, or by searching a list (only available in 'Single' input mode).
• Events List (Recordlist) (required) — Provide a JSON array of event records to update when using 'Many' input mode; each record must include the event ID and fields to update.
• Columns (required) — Map the Bigin event fields to be updated with their new values.
• Multi Select Fields — Optionally set values for multi-select custom fields on the event(s).

a list of updated event records containing the fields after update

In 'Single' mode, only one event is updated; in 'Many' mode, multiple events are updated in batch by providing a JSON list. Unspecified optional fields will be reset to default values. Use the 'Update Specific Fields' operation to avoid resetting unspecified data.

Examples

Example 1: Single event update

Set Input Mode to 'Single', select the event by ID or URL, and specify new field values to update.

Example 2: Batch update multiple events

Set Input Mode to 'Many', provide a JSON array of event records with their IDs and new field values, then run to update all specified events.
