Summary

Add a tag to a contact in Clientify, creating the tag if it does not already exist.

Inputs

• contactId (required) — The ID of the contact to which the tag will be added. Can be mapped from previous workflow steps.
• name (required) — The name of the tag to add to the contact. If the tag does not exist, it will be created. Can be mapped from previous steps.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the API response with metadata about the resource, operation, HTTP method, and path used

The response is normalized to an object; no specific fields guaranteed beyond confirmation of success or error. The tag will be added to the contact identified by contactId.

Examples

Example 1: Add the tag 'VIP' to the contact with ID 12345

Set 'contactId' parameter to 12345 and 'name' parameter to 'VIP' in the operation fields.
