Summary

Updates a Clientify task's fields using a JSON body and sends a PATCH request.

Inputs

• taskId (required) — The ID of the task to update.
• body (required) — A JSON object containing the fields to update (e.g., {"name": "New Name", "description": "Updated description"}).

Output shape

A single item representing the updated task data.

Returns the full updated task object from Clientify. If the 'marketing_status' field is changed, the API validates custom fields and enforces the marketing contacts limit.

Set taskId to the target task ID and provide a JSON body with the new fields.
