Summary

Save agent-learned details to a contact in SocialMate Agent Memory. Select the WhatsApp account, provide a contact ID or a phone number in full international format, and add the fields to update; omitted fields are left unchanged. Inputs

  • Account Name or ID — WhatsApp account to use. Can be left empty if the API key is bound to one account; choose an account when the key can access multiple.
  • Contact ID (required) — Contact ID from Get Many or a trigger payload, or a phone number in full international format.
  • Fields to Save — Any combination of Custom Name, Notes, Email, Company, and Tags. Tags are entered as comma-separated values (up to 32). Only added fields are sent; blank tags are omitted.

Output shape

A single JSON record returned by the SocialMate API for the updated or created contact.

The node unwraps the API response envelope when present. It returns one n8n item per input item; with Continue On Fail enabled, failures are returned as an item containing an error.
