Summary

Adds an emoji reaction to a WhatsApp message, or removes the account’s existing reaction when Emoji is empty. A new reaction replaces that account’s previous reaction on the message.

Inputs

  • Account Name or ID — WhatsApp account to use. If omitted, the node selects the account automatically when the API key is bound to one account; otherwise select an account.
  • Chat ID / Phone Number (required) — Recipient’s phone number in international format, or a group JID ending in @g.us. The node normalizes phone numbers before sending the reaction request.
  • Message ID (required) — ID of the message to react to, such as one from a Trigger event, Search, or an earlier send.
  • Emoji — Emoji to add. Leave empty to remove the existing reaction.

Output shape

A single JSON item per input item, containing the API response.

The operation is available on every tier. Reactions consume no message-send budget and do not raise the anti-ban risk score.
