Summary

Update an existing note by specifying its ID and the desired fields to change, optionally linking it to a client or archiving it.

Inputs

• Note (required) — The ID of the note to update, selectable via a dynamic list of existing notes.
• Update Fields — A collection of fields to update on the note, including Title, Content, Client association, and archive status.
• Timezone — Timezone used to correctly convert any date/time values provided (although this operation does not explicitly include date/time fields).
• Simplify — Whether to return a simplified response containing only key fields instead of the full raw API response.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated note

Returns the updated note object from the XOCRM API. If 'simplify' is true, returns a filtered version containing only key note fields (id, title, clientId, isArchived, updatedAt). Errors are thrown for invalid IDs, permissions, or other API issues.

Examples

Example 1: Update note title and mark as archived

Specify the note ID, set the new title in Update Fields, and set Is Archived to true.
