Summary

Retrieve related records linked to a specified record in a given business object relationship within Ivanti Neurons for ITSM.

Inputs

• Business Object Name (required) — Name of the business object, e.g., Incident or Change; an "s" will be appended automatically (Incident -> Incidents).
• Record ID (required) — Unique identifier of the record to get relationships for.
• Relationship Name (required) — Name of the relationship to retrieve related records from, e.g., IncidentContainsJournal.
• Send Select Parameters — Flag to specify whether to return only selected fields.
• Select (Manual) — Comma-separated list of fields to return if select parameters are enabled.
• Options — Optional parameters including: OData filter to limit related records; whether to strip null values from output; whether to sort output keys alphabetically; batching controls to throttle requests by splitting input into batches with specified size and interval.

Output shape

a list of related records matching the specified relationship and filters for each requested input record.

Supports batching to process multiple input records with throttling; filter option uses OData syntax to constrain returned related records; optional selection of specific fields reduces output size; output keys can be sorted and null fields optionally removed.

Examples

Example 1: Get all journal notes related to a specific incident record

Set Business Object Name to 'Incident', Record ID to target incident's ID, Relationship Name to 'IncidentContainsJournal'. Optionally enable Select and specify fields like 'RecId,Subject,Status' to only return those fields.
