Summary

Update an existing platform banner's properties and optionally replace its targeted accounts on the platform.

Inputs

• Platform Banner (required) — The platform banner to update, selectable from a searchable list or by specifying its numeric ID.
• Update Target Accounts — Toggle to decide whether to replace the banner's targeted accounts during the update.
• Target Accounts — When updating target accounts, specify which accounts to target either all, by manual ID(s), or from a selectable list.
• Account Names or IDs — Choose the exact accounts to target from a list or expressions, used if Target Accounts mode is 'From List'.
• Account IDs — Specify one or more account IDs manually, used if Target Accounts mode is 'By ID'.
• Additional Fields — Supplemental banner properties to update including active status, banner type, content (supports markdown), start and end times, status URL, user roles to show the banner to, title, and video URL (required for Feature Announcement type).

Output shape

a JSON object representing the updated platform banner record.

The operation returns details of the updated platform banner. Updating target accounts is optional and controlled via the 'Update Target Accounts' boolean. Banner types include error, feature announcement, info, success, and warning. Feature Announcement type expects a valid video URL format.
