• Inbox (required) — Inbox the conversation belongs to, chosen from a list or entered by numeric ID. Used to narrow the conversation selection.
• Conversation (required) — Conversation to mark as seen, chosen from a list or entered by numeric ID.

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the API response for the update-last-seen request.

The source pack shows only function signatures for this operation (updateConversationLastSeen), so the exact response body is not visible. Chatwoot's update_last_seen endpoint typically returns little or no data, so expect a minimal or empty payload.

Examples

Example 1: Clear the unread badge after an automation replies to a customer.

Set Account, Inbox and Conversation (By ID using an expression like {{$json.conversation.id}}) and run after the Send Message step.

Example 2: Mark a conversation as read once a bot has processed an incoming webhook message.

Pick the account and inbox from the lists and map the conversation ID from the webhook payload.
