Chatwoot fazer.aiInstall

Summary

Posts a new text message to an internal chat channel in a Chatwoot fazer.ai account, optionally as a threaded reply to an existing message.

Inputs

• Account (required) — Chatwoot account to use, chosen from a searchable list or entered as a numeric ID.
• Internal Chat Channel (required) — Channel that receives the message, chosen from a searchable list or entered as a numeric ID.
• Content (required) — Text body of the message.
• Additional Fields: Parent Message — Message to reply to, chosen from a list or entered by numeric ID. This creates a threaded reply.
• Additional Fields: Also Send in Channel — Boolean, default false. Mirrors a thread reply into the main channel view. It only takes effect when Parent Message is set.
• Additional Fields: Echo ID — Client-generated ID used for optimistic updates.

Output shape

Most likely the created internal chat message record as returned by the Chatwoot API, emitted as an n8n item.

The source pack shows only function signatures, not the request body or return handling, so the exact response fields aren't confirmed. This operation needs a Chatwoot instance running the fazer.ai fork. Standard Chatwoot doesn't support internal chat.

Examples

Example 1: Post an alert to a team channel when a workflow fails.

Select Account and Internal Chat Channel, then set Content to an expression such as {{ $json.error.message }}. Leave Additional Fields empty.

Example 2: Reply inside an existing thread and also show the reply in the main channel.

Set Content to the reply text. Under Additional Fields, set Parent Message to the message ID and turn on Also Send in Channel.
