Summary

Configures maximum message size limits for sending and receiving email for a specific mailbox.

Inputs

• tenantFilter (required) — Selects the Microsoft 365 tenant to perform the operation on. Can be selected from a list or specified by domain name.
• userId (required) — The User Principal Name (UPN) of the mailbox owner (e.g., user@domain.com).
• maxSendSize (required) — Maximum email size for sending (in MB). Defaults to 35.
• maxReceiveSize (required) — Maximum email size for receiving (in MB). Defaults to 36.

Output shape

a single item indicating success or failure

Returns a success envelope (OK: true/false) with a message describing the result.

Examples

Example 1: Increase the outgoing email size limit for a user in a specific tenant.

Select tenant by domain, specify user UPN, set maxSendSize to 50 MB.

Example 2: Adjust both sending and receiving limits to standard corporate tiers.

Select tenant from list, provide user UPN, set maxSendSize to 35 MB and maxReceiveSize to 36 MB.
