Summary

Create an open shift in a team’s schedule for the selected tenant, with a specified scheduling group, time range, and number of available slots. Optional fields set its display name, notes, color theme, and activities.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its domain.
• Team ID (required) — ID of the team whose schedule will receive the shift.
• Scheduling Group ID (required) — ID of the scheduling group the open shift belongs to.
• Start Date Time (required) — Start date and time of the open shift.
• End Date Time (required) — End date and time of the open shift.
• Open Slot Count (required) — Number of slots available; defaults to 1.
• Options — Optional display name, notes, theme (defaults to white), and activities as a JSON array.

Output shape

A single API response item describing the created open shift.

The operation sends the request to the team schedule’s open shifts endpoint. The response fields depend on the API response.
