Summary

Creates a user in the selected tenant through CIPP’s AddUser endpoint, mapping the supplied name and domain to the fields CIPP expects. You can set a username and profile details, provide an initial password, or let CIPP generate one.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its default domain.
• First Name (required) — The user’s first name.
• Last Name (required) — The user’s last name.
• Domain (required) — The primary domain for the user’s email address.
• Additional Fields — Optional profile and account settings: city, company, country, department, display name, job title, mail nickname, mobile phone, office location, postal code, state, street address, and usage location. Username overrides the default username derived from the first name. Password sets a custom initial password; if omitted, CIPP generates one. Must Change Password controls whether the new user must change their password at next sign-in. Copy Groups From User and Set Manager accept user GUIDs.

Output shape

A single CIPP API response for the user creation request.

The operation sends the tenant selection and mapped user fields to CIPP. The source does not establish a more specific response shape.
