Summary

Creates a shift for a user in the selected team’s schedule by sending its user ID and start and end times to the Teams Shifts API. Optionally sets the shift’s display name, notes, color theme, and activities.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its domain.
• Team ID (required) — ID of the team whose schedule will receive the shift.
• User ID (required) — User object ID or UPN to assign the shift to.
• Start Date Time (required) — Shift start date and time in ISO 8601 format.
• End Date Time (required) — Shift end date and time in ISO 8601 format.
• Options — Optional shift display name, notes, theme, and activities. Activities are provided as a JSON array with fields such as displayName, startDateTime, endDateTime, code, and theme.

Output shape

A single API response item containing the created shift data.

The operation uses the Teams schedule API for the specified team and user. The API response fields depend on the service response.
