Summary

Search Bullhorn candidates using Lucene query syntax and return specified fields.

Inputs

• authentication (required) — Select 'Enterprise Credentials (API Key)' or 'User Credentials (Email & Password)' for authentication.
• query (required) — Lucene query string (e.g., name:Smith* AND status:Active).
• limit — Maximum number of records to return (max 500, default 20).
• fields — Bullhorn fields to return. Set an Output Name to rename in the output, or leave empty to use the Bullhorn field name.
• hideDeleted — Whether to automatically exclude deleted/archived records. Adds isDeleted:false for most entities and excludes status=Archive for ClientCorporation/Placement.
• outputFields — Fields to include in every output item. Merged into results, no-results, and error items.
• enableOperationsLog — Whether to emit an audit log row to a second 'Operations Log' output for every write operation.

Output shape

a list of items, one per record

The operation supports a maximum limit of 500 records. The 'hideDeleted' parameter automatically filters out soft-deleted records and archived ClientCorporation/Placement entities.

Examples

Example 1: Find active candidates with the last name 'Smith' and return their name and email.

Query: name:Smith* AND status:Active, Fields: firstName, lastName, email

Example 2: Retrieve the first 50 candidates added in the last 30 days.

Limit: 50, Query: dateAdded:[30d TO *]
