Summary

Delete a file attachment from a specified Bullhorn entity by its file ID, removing the file association from that parent entity.

Inputs

• authentication — Select authentication method: User Credentials (email and password) or Enterprise Credentials (API key).
• enableOperationsLog — Optionally enable logging each delete operation to a second output for audit trail purposes.
• id (required) — The ID of the record to delete (same as fileId in this context).
• fileParentEntity (required) — The type of Bullhorn entity (e.g., Candidate, Contact, Company, Job, Placement) the file is attached to.
• fileParentId (required) — The ID of the parent Bullhorn entity to which the file is attached.
• fileId (required) — The unique ID of the file attachment to be deleted.
• outputFields — Additional fields to include in each output item merged with the result or error output.

Output shape

a single record indicating success or failure of the delete operation

Emits an optional second output record for operations log if enabled. The operation deletes the association of the file attachment from the specified Bullhorn entity and the file itself. Errors are thrown if parameters are invalid or deletion fails.
