Summary

Update an existing communication template by specifying its ID and providing the new template content and optional update fields.

Inputs

• clinicId — Optionally specify the clinic by selecting from a searchable list or by providing a UUID. This is required only for retrieving multiple templates; optional for update.
• communicationTemplateId (required) — Specify the UUID of the communication template to update.
• template (required) — Provide the updated communication template content as a JSON object.
• updateFields — Optionally include additional fields to update, such as the 'Is Enabled' boolean flag.

The response returns the updated communication template object. The operation requires the communication template ID and template JSON. Clinic ID is optional.

Examples

Example 1: Update a communication template's JSON content and enable it.

Set the 'Communication Template' ID, supply the new 'Template (JSON)', and set 'Is Enabled' to true in 'Update Fields'.
