Summary

Create a new patient record in the NextMotion system associated with a specified clinic.

Inputs

• Clinic — Optionally specify the clinic by selecting from a list or providing the clinic UUID. Required when creating a patient.
• Email (required) — Enter the patient's email address.
• First Name (required) — Enter the patient's first name.
• Last Name (required) — Enter the patient's last name.
• Gender (required) — Select the patient's gender from Female, Male, or Other.
• Additional Fields — Optional fields such as birth date, city, doctor (select from list or by ID), doctor comments, archived status, patient number, phone number, postal address, and ZIP code to provide more details about the patient.

Output shape

a single patient record object returned from the API after creation

The output contains the details of the newly created patient including the provided fields and identifiers assigned by NextMotion. There is no pagination or batch output since this creates a single patient.

Examples

Example 1: Create a patient with mandatory and optional details

Set Clinic to a chosen clinic, fill Email, First Name, Last Name, and Gender, and optionally supply birth date and doctor ID in Additional Fields.
