Summary

Update the details of an existing patient in the NextMotion system by specifying the patient and optionally the clinic, and providing one or more patient fields to modify.

Inputs

• Clinic — Optionally specify the clinic either by selecting from a list or by ID; required for some operations but optional when using patient ID directly for update.
• Patient (required) — Select the patient to update either from a searchable list filtered by clinic or by their unique ID.
• Update Fields (required) — Specify one or more patient fields to update such as birth date, city, doctor, doctor comments (HTML format), email, first name, gender, archived status, last name, patient number, phone number, postal address, and ZIP code.

Output shape

a single updated patient record

Returns the updated patient record according to the NextMotion API response. The operation requires the patient ID and optionally the clinic. Updating fields is done via a specified collection of fields, and the output corresponds to the patient object after update.
