Summary

Update an absence type in a selected organization by ID. Send any chosen fields—such as its name, code, description, color, pay status, quota deduction, overtime effect, approval, or documentation requirements—to Timesheet; the operation returns the updated absence type.

Inputs

• Organization (required) — Select the organization from the list or enter its ID.
• Absence Type ID (required) — ID of the absence type to update.
• Update Fields — Optional fields to update: affects overtime, code, color, deducts from quota, description, name, paid, requires approval, and requires documentation.
• Authentication — Choose API Key, OAuth2, or OAuth 2.1 (PKCE) authentication.

Output shape

A single updated absence type record.

The update fields are optional; provide the fields you want to change.
