Summary

Create a Timesheet task in the selected project using its start and end times. Optionally include a description, billable flag, and team when teams are enabled for the profile.

Inputs

• Authentication (required) — Choose API Key, OAuth2, or OAuth 2.1 (PKCE) credentials.
• Project (required) — Select a project from the list or enter its ID.
• Start Date Time (required) — When the work started. The node normalizes the value to an ISO 8601 datetime with an explicit timezone offset.
• End Date Time (required) — When the work ended; must be after the start time. The node checks this before creating the task.
• Team — Select a team or enter its ID when teams are activated in the profile; otherwise leave empty.
• Additional Fields — Optionally set Description and Billable (defaults to false).

Output shape

A single task record returned by the Timesheet API.

Creation is performed once for each input item. API or validation errors are surfaced as n8n errors.

Examples

Example 1: Log billable work to a project

Choose the project, provide start and end datetimes with the end after the start, and set Billable to true. Optionally add a description.
