Summary

Update an existing checklist by specifying its Checklist ID and providing the checklist fields to modify, such as name, description, type, creator ID, active status, position, and completion status.

Inputs

• Auth Mode — Select the TANSS credential type for authentication (Generated Token or User Login with auto refresh). Defaults to User Login.
• Checklist ID (required) — Numeric identifier of the checklist to update.
• Update Checklist Body — Collection of checklist fields to update including ID, name, description, type (Checklist, Template, or Adhoc), creator ID, whether active, position (Default or Top), and whether completed.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the updated checklist.

The response includes the updated checklist's data fields. The operation requires the Checklist ID and any fields to be updated; unspecified fields remain unchanged. Authentication mode affects the request but does not alter the output shape.

Examples

Example 1: Update the name and description of a checklist by its ID

Provide the Checklist ID, set Auth Mode as needed, and specify new values for 'name' and 'description' in the Update Checklist Body.
