Summary

Update an existing software license in TANSS by specifying its ID and the fields to modify, such as company association, remarks, serial number, expiration date, and assignment details.

Inputs

• Auth Mode — Select the TANSS credential type for authenticated requests, either 'Generated Token' or 'User Login (Auto Refresh)'.
• Software License ID (required) — The numeric ID of the software license to update.
• Update Software License Fields — A collection of optional fields to update on the software license, including company ID, remarks, serial number, inventory number, license type ID, expiration date (timestamp), renewal flag, date (timestamp), max installs, volume count, active status, employee ID, article number, contract price, and assignments linked by link type and link ID.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated software license.

The operation requires the software license ID and allows updating any combination of the available license properties. Assignments field supports multiple values for linking additional relations. The response reflects the updated resource state.
