Summary

Update a company by specifying its ID and providing any subset of updatable fields to modify the company's details in TANSS.

Inputs

• Auth Mode — Choose the TANSS credential type for authentication, either 'Generated Token' or 'User Login (Auto Refresh)'. Defaults to 'User Login (Auto Refresh)'. Different modes affect how the request is authenticated.
• Company ID (required) — The numeric identifier of the company to update.
• Update Company Fields — A collection of company fields to update. Supports updating identifiers, address details, contact info, status flags, notes, types, and personal customer employee data. Only fields provided will be changed.

Output shape

a single updated company record returned as JSON

The response will contain the updated company data from the TANSS API. Errors may occur if required fields are missing or authentication fails. The update operation affects only fields included in the Update Company Fields collection; omitted fields remain unchanged.

Examples

Example 1: Update the name, city, and inactive status of a company with ID 123, using user login authentication mode.

Set 'Auth Mode' to 'User Login (Auto Refresh)', provide 'Company ID' as 123, and fill 'Update Company Fields' with 'Name', 'City', and 'Inactive' values.
