Summary

Create a new contact in the Z-PRO system using optional contact detail parameters.

Inputs

• name — Full name of the contact.
• number — WhatsApp number in the format 5511999999999.
• email — Email address of the contact.
• cpf — Contact's CPF identification number in the format 000.000.000-00.
• firstName — First name of the contact.
• lastName — Last name or surname of the contact.
• businessName — Company or business name associated with the contact.
• birthdayDate — Birthday date of the contact in DD/MM/YYYY format.
• externalKey — Unique system key for identification, user-generated to control sending.
• validateNumber — Boolean flag to validate and normalize the WhatsApp number format (default true). If false, uses number as provided without normalization.
• requestOptions — Node settings for request behavior such as batching, proxy, SSL validation, and timeout.

Output shape

a single record representing the created contact

The operation returns the newly created contact object as received from the Z-PRO API. RequestOptions affect request handling but not the output shape. All input contact fields are optional; unspecified fields are omitted in the creation request.
