Summary

Update an existing contact's information in the Z-PRO system by specifying one or more identifying or data fields.

Inputs

• Name — Full name of the contact to update.
• Number — WhatsApp number of the contact in the format 5511999999999.
• Email — Email address of the contact.
• CPF — Contact's CPF identifier in the format 000.000.000-00.
• First Name — Contact's given (first) name.
• Last Name — Contact's family (last) name.
• Business Name — Name of the contact's company or business.
• Birthday Date — Birth date of the contact in DD/MM/YYYY format.
• Kanban — Numeric ID of the kanban board associated with the contact.
• External Key — Unique external identifier used for system integration and ensuring idempotency.
• Validate Number — Boolean to determine if the contact number should be validated and normalized (default true). If false, the number is used as provided without BR formatting normalization.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated contact.

The operation returns the updated contact data as a single item. Optional fields can be omitted if no update to those fields is desired. The 'External Key' can be used to uniquely identify the contact for update purposes if available.

Examples

Example 1: Update a contact's email and birthday by specifying their external key and new values.

Set the 'External Key' to identify the contact, then fill 'Email' and 'Birthday Date' with updated data.
