Summary

Update an existing activity or create a new one if it does not exist in LLW CRM, optionally managing associations with contacts, companies, deals, or documents.

Inputs

• Manage Associations — Boolean to specify whether to attach, detach, or sync associations after the update or create operation.
• Association Operation — Choose how to modify associations when managing them: 'attach' to add without removing existing, 'detach' to remove specific associations, or 'sync' to replace all associations.
• Associations — JSON object specifying IDs of associated entities such as companies and contacts to attach, detach, or sync with the activity.

Output shape

a single object representing the updated or newly created activity record

The returned data contains the activity details as returned by the LLW CRM API. Associations are handled after the activity is saved if enabled. Errors are returned per item when continuation on failure is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Update an activity by ID, then attach additional contacts and companies as associations.

Provide activity ID and updated fields, enable Manage Associations with operation 'attach', and specify associations JSON.

Example 2: Create a new activity if no existing match is found and replace all current associations with a new set.

Leave activity ID blank to create new, enable Manage Associations with operation 'sync', and supply associations JSON reflecting desired links.
