Summary

Search contacts by first name, email address, or phone number using a query string, returning matching contact records with optional control over result count and sorting.

Inputs

• searchQuery (required) — The search query string used to find contacts by first name, email, or phone number.
• returnAll — Whether to return all matching results or limit to a specified number.
• limit — Maximum number of contacts to return if Return All is false (1-250).
• additionalFields — Optional parameters including comma-separated list of fields to return, field to sort by, and sort direction (ascending or descending).

Output shape

a list of contact records matching the search query

Returns all matching contacts if Return All is true; otherwise returns up to Limit contacts. The output fields can be customized via Additional Fields. Errors are returned as error messages per item if Continue On Fail is enabled.
