Summary

Update an existing Document in LLW CRM if it matches the search criteria; otherwise, create a new Document record. Optionally manage associations by attaching, detaching, or syncing linked records after the main operation.

Inputs

• Manage Associations — Boolean to determine whether to manage (attach, detach, or sync) associations after update or create operation.
• Association Operation — The type of association operation to perform when managing associations: attach (add without removing existing), detach (remove specific), or sync (replace all).
• Associations — A JSON object specifying IDs of associated companies, contacts, deals, etc., to be managed according to the Association Operation when Manage Associations is enabled.

Output shape

A single JSON object representing the updated or created Document record, including its properties and IDs, returned as one output item per input item.

If Manage Associations is enabled, associations are updated immediately after the Document record is created or updated. The operation will search for an existing Document before creation based on input parameters; if found, it updates that record, otherwise creates it.

Examples

Example 1: Create or update a Document, attaching new associations

Set Manage Associations to true, choose 'attach' for Association Operation, and specify the related entity IDs in Associations JSON.

Example 2: Update or create a Document without modifying associations

Set Manage Associations to false or leave it unset; only the Document record is created or updated.
