Summary

Renew an existing contract by updating its end date and optionally its start date and contract value in PerfexCRM.

Inputs

• Contract ID (required) — The ID of the contract to renew.
• New End Date (required) — The new end date for the renewed contract, formatted as a datetime.
• New Start Date — Optional new start date for the renewed contract; defaults to the current date if not provided.
• New Value — Optional new contract value for the renewed contract.

Returns the updated contract details after renewal. The date fields are validated and formatted by the node before making the API request. Errors in request or validation are reported as execution errors unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Renew a contract with new end date only

Set 'Contract ID' to the contract's ID and 'New End Date' to the desired renewal end date.

Example 2: Renew a contract with new start date and value

Provide 'Contract ID', 'New End Date', and under 'Additional Fields', specify 'New Start Date' and 'New Value' to update all three.
