Summary

Create a new task in PerfexCRM with required task name and start date, optionally specifying various additional details to customize the task.

Inputs

• Name (required) — The name of the task to be created.
• Start Date (required) — The start date of the task in YYYY-MM-DD format.
• Additional Fields — Optional parameters to further define the task, including assignees (comma-separated staff IDs), billable flag, description, due date, hourly rate, public visibility, milestone ID, priority, recurring flag, related item ID and type, status, tags, visibility to client, and custom field values by numeric ID or slug.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the newly created task as returned by the PerfexCRM API

The output contains the full task object with all fields returned by the API after creation. Validation is performed on date formatting and non-negative numeric fields before submission.
