Summary

Update a customer contact sensitive words interception rule in WeCom by specifying the rule ID and optionally modifying the rule's name, sensitive word list, intercept type, semantic interception rules, and usage scope (adding/removing members or departments).

Inputs

• rule_id (required) — The ID of the sensitive words interception rule to update.
• updateRuleName — Boolean flag to indicate if the rule name should be updated.
• rule_name (required) — The new name for the interception rule; required if updateRuleName is true.
• updateWordList — Boolean flag to indicate if the sensitive word list should be updated.
• word_list (required) — Comma-, pipe-, or newline-separated list of sensitive words to apply; supports up to 300 unique items with 1-32 characters each; required if updateWordList is true.
• updateInterceptType — Boolean flag to indicate if the intercept type should be updated.
• intercept_type — Intercept type setting where 1 means 'warn and block sending' and 2 means 'warn only'; required if updateInterceptType is true.
• updateSemantics — Boolean flag to indicate if additional semantic intercept rules should be updated; setting an empty list clears all semantic rules.
• semantics_list — List of extra semantic interception rules (phone number, email address, red packet); required if updateSemantics is true.
• enableAddRange — Boolean flag to indicate if members and/or departments should be added to the interception rule's scope.
• add_user_list — Comma-, pipe-, or newline-separated list of UserIDs to add; combined limit with departments is 1000 per call.
• add_department_list — Comma-, pipe-, or newline-separated list of department IDs (integers) to add; combined limit with users is 1000 per call.
• enableRemoveRange — Boolean flag to indicate if members and/or departments should be removed from the interception rule's scope.
• remove_user_list — Comma-, pipe-, or newline-separated list of UserIDs to remove; combined limit with departments is 1000 per call.
• remove_department_list — Comma-, pipe-, or newline-separated list of department IDs (integers) to remove; combined limit with users is 1000 per call.

Output shape

a single record containing the updated interception rule details as returned by the WeCom API

The operation requires the rule ID and any fields to update must be explicitly enabled with their corresponding boolean flags (e.g., updateRuleName, updateWordList). Sensitive word lists are automatically deduplicated. Use of this operation requires the credential to be configured with Customer Contact API permissions.
