Summary

Update an existing parent's information in the WeCom School communication application by specifying their current UserID and optionally updating their UserID, mobile number, and/or associated children list.

Inputs

• parent_userid (required) — Current UserID of the parent to be updated (1–64 UTF-8 bytes, must start with a letter or digit).
• update_new_parent_userid — Boolean flag to enable updating the parent's UserID.
• new_parent_userid (required) — New unique UserID for the parent if updating UserID; each parent UserID can only be changed once.
• update_mobile — Boolean flag to enable updating the parent's mobile phone number.
• mobile (required) — New mobile phone number of the parent if updating mobile.
• update_children — Boolean flag to enable updating the parent's children list; this is a full replacement.
• childrenCollection (required) — Full children list when updating children, containing 1 to 10 children; each child requires a student UserID and the relationship to the parent (max 32 UTF-8 bytes).

Output shape

a single record containing the API response of the update operation

If updating the parent UserID, ensure to synchronize all workflows or dependencies that use the old UserID, as each parent can only change their UserID once; empty children lists are ignored by the API, and the children list update is a full replacement removing any not listed.
