CIPP AdvancedInstall

Summary

Adds a Chocolatey package application for the selected tenant and assigns it to the chosen device or user targets. Configure the package name and, optionally, an app description, uninstall behavior, assignment groups, and Chocolatey install options.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its domain.
• Assign To (required) — Choose All Devices, All Users, Both, a custom group, or Do Not Assign.
• Custom Group Names — Comma-separated group names; shown when Assign To is Custom Group.
• Application Name (required) — Display name for the application.
• Description — Optional application description.
• Mark for Uninstall — When enabled, marks the app for uninstallation instead of installation.
• Package Name (required) — Chocolatey package name, such as googlechrome.
• Additional Options — Optional custom repository URL, disable-restart flag, and install-as-SYSTEM flag. Install as System defaults to enabled; the other options default to empty or disabled.
• Normalize Numeric Strings — Converts plain numeric strings in the response to numbers; defaults to disabled.

Output shape

A single API response item containing the result of the add request.

The operation is a tenant-scoped application write. The source pack provided only shows the operation entry point signature, so the exact endpoint, request payload mapping, and response envelope are not visible.
