Summary

Create a Conditional Access named location for the selected tenant, using the specified name and location type. Optional fields configure country selection or IP ranges, whether unknown countries are included, and whether the location is trusted.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its domain.
• Location Name (required) — Name for the named location.
• Type (required) — Choose Countries or IP Location.
• Additional Fields — For Countries, provide a JSON array of label/value objects and optionally include unknown countries and regions. For IP Location, provide IP ranges. The Trusted flag defaults to false.
• Normalize Numeric Strings — Defaults to false; controls whether numeric strings in returned data are converted to numbers.

Output shape

A single API response item for the created named location.

The operation sends a create request to CIPP. The source shows it parses country data as JSON and copies the configured fields into the request; normalization may convert numeric strings in the returned data when enabled.
