CIPP AdvancedInstall

Summary

Updates a policy for the selected tenant by sending the configured fields to CIPP. Use the fields collection to set the assignment target, description, display name, or target group ID; the node sends only non-empty values.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its domain.
• Fields to Update — Optional policy fields: Assign To, Description, Display Name, and Group ID. Empty values are omitted from the update request.
• Normalize Numeric Strings — When enabled, converts plain decimal number strings to numbers in the response, including within nested objects and arrays. Defaults to off.

Output shape

The CIPP API response to the policy edit request.

The request updates the policy through CIPP; the returned shape depends on the API response.
