Summary

Delete a GDAP role template by its required template ID. Optionally pass additional template fields in the request body; the operation sends a DELETE request to the CIPP API without a tenant filter.

Inputs

• Template ID (required) — GDAP role template ID to delete.
• Additional Fields — Optional request body fields: Action, GDAP Template (JSON), Group ID, Invite Count, Original Template ID, Reference, and Role Mappings (JSON). The two JSON fields are declared as strings; their descriptions specify LabelValue JSON.
• Normalize Numeric Strings — When enabled, recursively converts plain decimal numeric strings in the API response to numbers. Defaults to false.

Output shape

The CIPP API response for the delete request.

The source pack identifies a DELETE request to /api/ExecGDAPRoleTemplate with TemplateId required and optional body fields. It does not establish a more specific response shape.
