Summary

Collects a tenant’s security signals across identity, access, endpoint, email, governance, apps, devices, and data settings, then returns a posture summary with detected gaps. Choose the tenant, set how critical step failures should be handled, and optionally normalize numeric strings in the result.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its domain.
• Fail Mode — Best Effort continues after step failures and includes partial results; Fast Fail stops on the first failure in the critical steps. Later checks are best effort either way.
• Normalize Numeric Strings — When enabled, recursively converts plain decimal strings in the returned data to numbers; disabled by default.

Output shape

A single composite result containing a security posture summary, detected gaps, and step status metadata.

The workflow runs multiple tenant-wide CIPP checks. Some checks are best effort and may fail while the operation still returns partial results; step metadata includes errors, but raw API data for individual steps is omitted.
