CIPP AdvancedInstall

Summary

Edit a tenant’s malware filter rule by enabling or disabling it. Provide the tenant, the rule name, and the desired state; the operation sends the update to CIPP and returns the API response.

Inputs

• Tenant (required) — Select a tenant from the list or enter its domain.
• Rule Name (required) — Name of the malware filter rule to edit.
• State (required) — Choose Enable or Disable.
• Normalize Numeric Strings — Optionally convert numeric strings in the returned data to numbers; off by default.

Output shape

A single API response record or response payload.

The response shape depends on the CIPP API result. Numeric normalization is applied only when enabled.
