Summary

Authenticate a user by sending their email and password to the Open Web UI's signin endpoint, receiving authentication details upon success.

Inputs

• Skip Authentication — Option to skip authentication for the request; defaults to false.
• Method — HTTP method to use; defaults to POST for this operation.
• Media Type — Content-Type of the request body; currently only 'application/json' is supported and default.
• Request Body (required) — The signin credentials including 'email' and 'password' fields.

Output shape

a JSON response containing authentication data from the Open Web UI signin endpoint

The operation performs a POST request to '/api/v1/auths/signin' with the email and password in JSON format. Authentication credentials for the node must be provided unless 'Skip Authentication' is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: User logs in

Set 'Email' and 'Password' in Request Body; set method to POST; media type to application/json; authenticate with Open WebUI Auth credentials.
