Summary

Retrieve embedding information for a given text string via a GET request to the Open Web UI retrieval endpoint.

Inputs

• Text (required) — The text string for which to get embeddings, provided as a path parameter.
• Skip Authentication — Flag to skip authentication if set to true; defaults to false.

Output shape

a JSON object containing embedding data corresponding to the provided text parameter

The operation makes a GET request to /api/v1/retrieval/ef/{text} and returns the embedding results from the Open Web UI API. Authentication is applied by default unless skipped via input.

Examples

Example 1: Get embeddings for the text 'hello world'

Set the Text path parameter to 'hello world', keep Skip Authentication to false to use credentials, then execute the operation to return embedding data for that text.
