Summary

Retrieve the list of OpenAI models available via the Open Web UI API by sending a GET request to the /openai/models endpoint.

Inputs

• skipAuthentication — Boolean flag to skip authentication; defaults to false.
• queryParameters.url_idx — Optional query parameter 'url_idx' to specify an index in the query string.

Output shape

a list of models from the Open Web UI OpenAI models endpoint

The operation uses HTTP GET on /openai/models to fetch the models. If 'skipAuthentication' is false (default), the request uses Open Web UI authentication credentials. The query parameter 'url_idx' is optional and sent as a query string parameter if specified.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch all available OpenAI models

Set 'Skip Authentication' to false to use credentials, leave 'Url_idx' empty if unused. Executes a GET request to /openai/models endpoint and returns model listings.
