Summary

Send a batch of files with metadata to the Open Web UI retrieval endpoint to process and store them under a specified collection name.

Inputs

• Skip Authentication — Optionally skip authentication for the request (default is false).
• Method (required) — HTTP method to use for the request (default is GET, but POST is expected for this operation).
• Files (required) — An array of file objects each containing mandatory fields: id, user_id, filename, created_at, updated_at; and optional fields: hash, path, data, meta, access_control.
• Collection Name (required) — The name of the collection to group the batch of files under in retrieval processing.

Output shape

a single response object from the Open Web UI API reflecting the batch processing result

The response shape depends on the API implementation; this operation uses POST method with application/json media type to '/api/v1/retrieval/process/files/batch'. Authentication can be skipped if indicated.
