Summary

Retrieve the embedding configuration from the Open Web UI Retrieval API endpoint via a configurable HTTP method (default GET).

Inputs

• Skip Authentication — If set to true, bypasses the use of authentication credentials for this request.
• Authentication (required) — Uses the Open WebUI Auth credentials unless authentication is skipped.
• Method (required) — HTTP method to use for the request; defaults to GET.

Output shape

a JSON response representing the embedding configuration from the /api/v1/retrieval/embedding endpoint

The response shape depends on the Open Web UI API and is returned as received. Authentication is required unless skipped. The base URL is set to http://open-webui:8080 by default in the credentials and not configurable via node parameters.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch embedding config with default GET method and authentication

Uses Open WebUI Auth credentials, sends GET request to /api/v1/retrieval/embedding, returns JSON configuration.
