Summary

Send a POST request to '/api/v1/utils/pdf' that submits a chat title and an array of message objects to download a chat conversation as a PDF file.

Inputs

• Skip Authentication — Boolean to skip authentication; defaults to false.
• Method (required) — HTTP method to use; defaults to POST and only POST is valid for this operation.
• Request Body (required) — Object containing the 'title' string and 'messages' array representing the chat to convert to PDF. 'title' and 'messages' are required fields.

Output shape

a binary PDF file containing the chat messages formatted as per submitted title and messages

The PDF file is returned as a binary response from the Open Web UI service. Request body must conform to the specified schema with 'title' and 'messages' required. Authentication is required unless 'Skip Authentication' is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Download a chat conversation as a PDF with title and messages

Use the POST method, set the request body with a title string and an array of message objects under 'messages'. Authentication via Open WebUI Auth is enabled by default.
