Summary

Send a POST request to the Open Web UI's /ollama/v1/chat/completions endpoint to generate chat completions using Ollama's OpenAI-compatible API.

Inputs

• Skip Authentication — Set to true to disable authentication for the request.
• Query Parameters — Optional query parameters for the request such as 'url_idx' to specify the URL index.
• Media Type (required) — The media type of the request body; currently fixed to 'application/json'.
• Request Body (required) — The JSON object representing the parameters of the chat completion request to be sent in the body.

Output shape

a single response object corresponding to the chat completion result returned by the Ollama Open Web UI API

The operation sends a POST request and returns the API response as-is; pagination or partial responses are not indicated. The base URL is fixed to 'http://open-webui:8080' unless overridden in credentials. Authentication is used by default unless 'Skip Authentication' is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Generate a chat completion with specific prompt parameters

Set 'Skip Authentication' to false, specify any query parameters if needed, and provide the request body with the chat completion details (like prompt, model, etc.) in JSON format.
