Summary

Retrieve a list of functions from the Open Web UI API by making a GET request to the /api/v1/functions/ endpoint.

Inputs

• Skip Authentication — Boolean flag to bypass authentication when making the API request. Defaults to false.

Output shape

a JSON array or object representing the functions retrieved from the Open Web UI API

The data returned corresponds to the response body of the GET request to /api/v1/functions/. The request uses the base URL from the OpenWebUI Auth credential unless Skip Authentication is enabled. No pagination or filtering parameters are exposed by this operation.

Examples

Example 1: Obtain all available functions from the Open Web UI service to use or inspect within an n8n workflow.

Configure the node with default Method 'GET' and endpoint path '/api/v1/functions/'. Optionally disable authentication if preferred by setting Skip Authentication to true. The node outputs the JSON response containing the list of functions.
